About me
Amie Burkholder is a K–5 Literacy Coach, national speaker, and literacy consultant dedicated to helping teachers turn research into practical, effective instruction. She is the founder of Literacy Edventures and co-owner of Unlocking SoR, where she supports educators through professional development, coaching, and classroom-ready resources. Amie is the author of the book Literacy Unlocked: How to Implement the Science of Reading With Young Learners and the creator of Foundations to Fluency, a phonics curriculum approved in the state of Virginia. With 15 years in education, she is passionate about building consistent, high-quality instruction so all students can become successful readers.
