Donna Fortune is a teacher educator in the elementary education program at Virginia Tech and a former primary classroom teacher and reading specialist. Her scholarship and pedagogy emphasize listening as a foundational skill for learning, equity, and relationships - supporting future teachers in creating responsive, student-centered classrooms.
