Kevin G. Bowman has been a classroom teacher, an administrator at the elementary, middle and high school levels, and a state championship boys' basketball coach. He has formerly served as the City of Suffolk's Youth Services Coordinator and has served and volunteered in youth recreational and educational programming for over 20 years. Mr. Bowman holds a bachelor's degree in political science/pre-law from Hampton University, a master's degree in administration and supervision from Averett University, and is currently a doctoral student for a degree in administration and supervision from the University of Virginia.  Having only worked in high-needs schools, Mr. Bowman brings a diverse perspective on school improvement and instructional leadership.
