About me
I have been an educator for my entire life. As a child I was always teaching my brothers how to do things and instructing neighborhood kids. I taught special education for 25 years in Floyd County at all levels. Then in 2010 I taught in Roanoke City Regional Autisum classroom at Woodrow Wilson. I retired to takecare of my grandson when he was born and we still get into some activities now. When he was in school I went back to the classroom as a PALs/VALLS tutor. I was at Burlington Elementary for two and half years but health issues caused me to leave but not for long. I returned to Glen Cove and had a great year. I am celebrating being a cancer survivor as I just had surgery and am cancer free and attacking the world with positive vibes. Talk to me I have some stories to tell.
